About Us

Welcome to Göta's World - A world of Tribal Art & Antiquities

Founded in 2011 near Ullanlinna in the heart of Helsinki, Finland, the Göta's World offer a wide selection of authentic ethnographic objects and unique artworks from Africa, Oceania, Asia, and Middle East. Besides the traditional ethnographic art we have strong passion, expertise and steadfast devotion to ancient art. Our broad collection include museum-quality works of art in stone, bronze, pottery, glass and wood from ancient civilizations ranging from the Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Egypt and Pre-Columbian worlds. Tribal Art and Antiquities are a stable investment, since it's value and rarity stays good within the commercial world.

For more than a decade, we have dedicated ourselves in collecting authentic ethnographic artworks and antiquities from different tribes and cultures globally. We take great pride in offering a diverse selection of antiquities that appeal to a wide range of tastes and interests. The allure of the tribal art is flourishing in ritual objects as masks, figures and fetishes used in sacred ceremonies and rites of passage. Utilitarian objects such as wooden bowls, basketry, pottery, weapons and glass beads offer a glance into the everyday life and culture of humans few of us will ever know.

Each object offered for sale has been carefully examined and selected, according to strict criteria of authenticity, aesthetic qualities and, of course, its historical importance. Our profession continues to evolve, as we are drawn to the elegance of ancient and ethnographic art and inspired by individual's ingenuity, creativity and imagination. In addition to selling and purchasing we offer also appraisals and authentication, art rental or leasing for film productions and personalized consulting services for private collectors and companies. We will be happy to help you with all your collecting needs.

Whether you are looking to start or enrich your collection, enjoy decorating with traditional tribal arts, or are looking for an unusual and fantastic gift, we invite you to browse our collection of extraordinary treasures.
