Terms of delivery

General

Götan Maailma Oy sells aged ethnographic antiques, educational natural history artefacts and hundreds, if not thousands of years old antiques / archeological pieces. Therefore, the condition of the objects may vary greatly. Objects may have surface defects, wear, cracks, dust, dirt or may be very brittle. The colors of items sold in the online store may differ from the actual ones due to the computer's resolution, screen resolution, and shooting environment. You should ask for additional pictures, more detailed information and information about possible defects on an object by sending us an e-mail at (info@gotanmaailma.fi).

Prices

Our items have the same prices at the online store and in the store. The seller is Götan Maailma Oy (business ID 2398690-9). The prices include the value-added tax. We reserve the right to change prices and postage.

E-ordering

In the Götan Maailma online store, items are ordered through the Shopping Cart. All orders are confirmed by e-mail, stating the price of the order, delivery costs and the items ordered. To receive an order confirmation, you must provide an email address when ordering. The customer agrees to the delivery terms valid for each order.

Payment

In our online store, purchases are paid by online payment.

Online payments are processed by Checkout Finland Oy.

Shipping method

As a rule, we deliver orders by post or they can be picked up from our store during the store's opening hours (Tarkk’ampujankatu 4, 00140 Hki). Items ordered through the online store are almost invariably delivered within a few working days.

We pack the items carefully and mainly in recycled materials / boxes because we want to save nature. We deliver orders by post either to the nearest post office or home delivery.

Shipping costs to anywhere in Finland is 10 € per order (includes VAT). Orders of 150 € or more are delivered free of cost.

NB! We do not deliver certain items outside Finland. These include e.g. taxidermy and taxidermy related objects, wet specimens, osteological specimens, horns and entomological collections.

Exchange and return conditions

The customer has a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The right of return only applies to intact and salable items. In other words, the object must come back to us in that condition once it has left Götan Maailma.

The customer must cover the costs of returning the items.

Instructions for returns

1. If you are returning an item or items, please inform us via email (info@gotanmaailma.fi) or by calling +358408408352 before sending.
2. Carefully pack the item (s) in the original packing materials / box.
3. Include your name and a copy of the order confirmation on the package.

We do not accept returns more than 14 days after delivery. Once the refund is accepted, received and processed, the money will be refunded in accordance with the payment processor's practices, depending on the payment method used in the transaction.

Problem solving

If your item is lost or damaged during transport, it must be reported immediately to (info@gotanmaailma.fi) or by calling +358408408352.

Notification of a defective object must be made within 14 days of receipt of the object. If the package is damaged during shipment, a complaint must be made immediately to the post office.

We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery.
