Pecten maximus is a northeast Atlantic species of scallop, a marine bivalve mollusc in the family Pectinidae. Beautiful set of shells and fragments from the Finnish private collection. Good condition. Age-related wear, dirt and dust. Size of the cardboard box 14,5cm x 14,5cm x 7,5cm. Size of individual shells varies from 4,0cm to 8,0cm. Approx. 130 pcs. Total weight c. 1465g.
