Preserved specimens "Actinopterygii"
In a glass jars, early 20th century, private collection from Finland.
Three aged specimens in glass jars from closed school/museum collection. One vial with unknown bone material, one with two dried small fish and third one with small beetles. In addition, two small sea shells is included in the collection. Over the many years, formalin or alcohol used as a preservative has evaporated from the glass jars and the specimens has dried. Age-related wear, dust and dirt. Size of specimens varies from 13,0cm to 2,0cm. Sell as a set.
