A delicate pottery oil lamp are from the Byzantine period 6th-8th century. Small and narrow Levantine-Palestinian ceramic oil lamp with decorated, low handle. Beautiful geometric and floral designs around the small fill hole (discus) and the large wick hole.

This pottery oil lamp is mold made with terracotta-colored clay. Nozzle still charred from ancient use. Good condition. Soil and dirt inside the oil lamp. Gorgeous patina. Size c. 8,3cm x 5,7cm x 2,2cm.
